The Arkansas House of Representatives has passed a bill that would restrict "adult" performances in the state. The bill, sponsored by Republican Rep. Jack Ladyman, would prohibit minors from attending such performances, set up a licensing system for adult entertainment venues, and require a cash bond to be posted to cover any potential costs associated with the performances. The bill would also require a minimum distance between adult venues and schools, churches, and daycare centers. If passed, the bill would take effect July 1.
